Workout Gang is a free site for running workout competitions with friends. This page explains what it stores and who can see it.
What we store
- Your sign-in: either your Google account (your email address and the name and picture on it, used only to sign you in), or a username and password. Username accounts don't need an email address. Passwords and recovery codes are stored only in scrambled form, so nobody can read them, including us.
- What you add to your leagues: your name in each league, the points you log for each day (and the steps or workouts behind them), seasons, teams and awards.
Who can see it
- Everything in a league is visible only to that league's members. Nobody can see a league without joining it, and joining needs the league's invite link.
- Your email address isn't shown to other members.
One account for Bravepop sites
Workout Gang and Movie Club share one sign-in system, so the same account works on both. Neither site shows the other anything you add to it.
Services we use
- Supabase hosts the database and sign-in.
- Google handles sign-in with Google.
- GitHub Pages serves the site.
We don't sell your data, show ads or use tracking or analytics.
Leaving and deleting
- Leave a league from the gear icon. Your name and points stay in the league's history, no longer linked to your account.
- Delete your account from the gear icon or the bottom of your leagues page. This removes your sign-in and recovery code from Workout Gang and Movie Club, and unlinks you from every league and club.
- A league admin can delete their league, which removes everything in it for everyone.
